I used AVG for some time. Later, I uninstalled AVG free antivirus in favor of another antivirus... I decided I didn't want any registry entries left behind and therefore used an uninstaller program (Your Uninstaller!).. Afterwards I was convinced that I had removed AVG antivirus completely. However, upon restart, I noticed in the Program Files folder that the Grisoft AVG folder was still there. I tried deleting it but it claimed that the files inside were still being used. However, like I said, AVG is supposed to be completely removed from my computer by now. On another occasion, right after logging in to my user account, a something popped up saying ''AVG email scanner has stopped working''. Truly, I don't want it to work at all. The annoying thing pops up from time to time right after I log in though... It doesn't seem to be causing any problems but I do want to get rid of it.
I am using Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. Please help me.. Thanks :)
How can I completely remove the AVG email scanner?live update
You should have just used the add/remove programs fro control panel. Why anyone would use these third party uninstallers I don't know. Now you have left parts of the services behind. You will need to re-install it, then uninstall the correct way. You may still need to delete the folder manually.

Are you using the latest version of ''Your Uninstaller''? If you are using the old version, it's not vista compatible, up-date. I have never had a problem with it.
Go into explorer, find AVG entries %26 delete. The program below will help.
Put this program on your PC, very useful, %26 free!!
